HAIL, HAIL THE GANGS ALL HERE
If you are a parent with kids in a school in Marion County public school, the odds are you have a gang problem. I got my hands on a survey of a number of schools and the gangs that are affiliated with them. The respondents were not administrators or teachers, but students. They are ones who see gang activity up close and personal when the rest of us turn a blind eye. Most of the problem is concentrated in schools on the East side of Indianapolis, however all school districts have their fair share. Here is the list. Just so you know the new word for a gang is a “crew”.

This is no different than when we ALL went to school. Who can honestly say that gangs didn’t exist when they went to school? Remember ‘Grease’?

I went to a small rural school, so gangs were nowhere in sight…and it was three decades ago.
Gangs today have escalted: during class or hallway disagreements, many of these youths have bypassed shouting, even fisticuffs. They’ve gone straight to guns.
Because that’s what their homeboys on rap TV, commercials, and hell, even professional athletes, have done. And the consequences just don’t seem to be too severe. Seriously.
Immitation becomes the way of their world, and they amplify their actions, so much so, that the gang mentality continues after you leave school. Did you read about the young mother on the NW side who flapped her jaws at some NWHS kids outside of school, over aruments begun in school? Result: dead (young) bodies.
They have no sense of propriety or proportion. Dis me in the hall, I cap your ass…
I’m in for some good old-fashioned fist fights. They’re starting to look pretty damned good. Compared to this nonssense in our streets, anyway.
I’ve got a high school freshman at North Central. I’m gonna go throw up now.

As a Gang Specialist, I’d like to say that your list leaves out some of the girl gangs, and hispanic gangs. This gang situation has been brewing a long time, and I would not mind coming on the show to talk about it. You have my email.

How can u say that a group is a gang u guys are posting streets aka hoods as gangs but if there is a group with a name as of code ping code red beastmode(etc) u call it a gang they dont go around calling themselves gangmembers is the chess club a gang or the football team it is the same thing jus different environment people wh play chess or football get introuble also but since the play on a special team it gets over looked

To the school system and Dr White and our government the schools would not be so bad if the school disricts were not changed so much mixing the different hoods only makes things worse think about it

First off, it would appear that most of your information is not only outdated but INCORRECT!! Code Pink is the female crew associated with Code Red out of Warren Central. I have never heard of Code Green. I would suggest that before you publish this type of information that you check your facts.
