The GOP just doesn’t get it. They don’t listen to the Republican voters, but expect them to fall in to place, lock-step. After their lack of support for some candidates in the last election because their ‘rules’ weren’t followed they lost support and may never get it back.
It is no surprise Ike withdrew, he cares about the city but the damn party gets so wrapped up in their own politics the city be damned!
It is sad. How far does this city have to slip before the people listen to someone who stands up to say ‘enough!’ ?

Never doubt that the perfect candidate to run against “hizzoner” is there in the shadow right next to us all.

11:26 – I know I have had “ENOUGH”. Enough of Mayor Bart and his shell games. Enough of Mayor Bart and his lack of concern over crime. Mayor Bart and the Democrat controlled CCC and their “tax and spend” mentality.

The old kids and family excuse. The reality of the situation is that Ike was quickly realizing he had no support among the Marion County GOP, he couldn’t raise any money nor could he find anyone willing to head up his campaign.

I’m kinda disappointed – I was so looking forward to reminding folk about Flip-Flop Ike – pandering to get votes but then voting the opposite. He wont be able to trick the voters in his District like that again…
Flip-flop!
