From what I know about the case, I can make this claim: A punk got thumped by the cops. Should they be reprimanded? Perhaps. Should they lose their jobs? Absolutely not.

And while young Brandon may have no criminal history yet, he surely is headed for a long term relationship with law enforcement. I hope this was a wake-up cal for him. Whether the cops were in the right or in the wrong, his approach never turns out well–for anyone.

And anyone making this an issue about race should be ashamed. But I'm no dreamer. Race-baiters have no shame.

That said, your post makes a lot of sense. But for me, the report took too long. If dimwit Brizzi reached his conclusion ten days ago, what's the holdup? And the lesson will likely be: when the police tell you to back off, uh, you'd best back off. How tough is that to comprehend? Did he think he had Superman powers, 4-1 disadvantage notwithstanding?
