    Here are the Public Education numbers directly from the Franklin Twp. F.D. 2008 Year end report:

    Fire Safety in Schools:100 participants
    Community Events: 9432 participants
    MC Axe: 200 participants
    Fire Station Tours: 500 participants
    Fire Extinguisher Training: 100 Participants
    Smoke Dectectors / Other: 5 Participants

    Toal: 10,837 (9432 is the approx. number of attendees at the '08 Wanamaker street fair)

    Fire Prevention in the Public and Private schhols were dropped approx. 6 or 7yrs ago by the then Fire Prevention Chief and current Chief of Department Randy Weasner.
