If your report about the swipe is true it would be true to form for this hustler/fraud who likely envies the exciting increase in student academic achievement that took place at John Marshall. That achievement is now going back into the toilet under the fraud, your recent guest, who first came to notice opening his big mouth about Mitch. White is just another posing affirmative action hire/failure who generates excuses and penalizes folks who demonstrate achievement, as in this case, this building, this man.

I have been teaching at John Marshall for six years. This is the worst year the school has ever had. Principal White is the fall guy because central office failed to take into consideration the value, ideas, and successful practices that he was instilling in the students, teachers, and parents.

Yes, Principal White can be hard to deal with because of his unwillingness to compromise his beliefs. But they had no reason to get rid of him. It sounds like Dr. White is trying to cover the mistakes of Jane Kendrick and Prudence Bridgwaters.

The hell with ralliing at the state house: people need to rally of John Marshall to get Principal White back to fix this mess.

Dr. White is AFU on this matter and deserves public attention for his miserable failures. Dr. White needs to be gone. He has NOTHING to show to the world but that he is a complete failure.

Look, can we agree to be more civil on this site regarding fellow Hoosiers?

I’m rela familiar with Dr. WHite and his “Mitch is a liar” commentary up in Washington Schools. His board rightfully took him to the woodshed. Because his oft-repeated philosophy demanded respect from students, and even though I’d tend to agree Mitch can be a goof, his office deserves respect.

But he’s no fool. The first child in his family, raised by a single mom, to go to college. Let alone get two advanced dergees and rise to the top of his profession.

Disagree with him, yeah. But he is not a fool or, as pascal called him, a fraud. Far from it.

This, gentle readers, is what the educational administration world produces on a regular basis. When free thinkers like Jeffrey White come along, via that same incestuous leadership-training path, if they do not follow goose-step with their predecessors, they are outcasts.

But Gene W. is s smart man. I seriously doubt he uttered negative words about Jeffrey W. anywhere. I’d bet this is just so much gossip.

Let’s hope so, or the taxpayers of IPS have just witnessed a huge potential defamation lawsuit, with a huge pricetag.

While it’s hard to disagree with calls for civility, the public school “system” crap, is intellectually pornographic. We don’t need managers of adult day care or a lead-bottomed burlesque. We need leaders! We need people who care! We need people like Jeff White who will take risks that favor the education of children; not the fanny padding of those who ought not speak with their mouths full of self-interest.

Dave, not all public schools fail. And not all private or charter schools succeed. They’re no better than the kids inside their walls, and their families and the staff.

I don’t know Jeff White. He may be the greatest thing since sliced bread. I do know Gene. And he is not.

I also know that Jeff thought so much of his students and parents last spring, that he filed to run for Congress on a whim. llegedly without telling his superiors. If he’d been successful, I’m not sure how he could’ve helped that mess, but…it was an interesting and paradoxical move to watch. It failed, of course…miserably, and embarassingly.

I called Trustee Rink today. He advised that he is not going to ask for a tax increase and that Decatur Township is in good shape financially.

And big giant monkeys will fly out of my butt.

Yea he keeps saying that but he told his Chiefs to begin cutting costs and to sell off assets that aren’t being used. i.e. two fire trucks, pool cars, old fire hose. Interesting for a township that is in good shape financially don’t you think? It is amazing how many residents think that there is still a fire station in Camby. Another asset that bares the name but try knocking on that door. The trustee closed that station years ago when he ran off all the volunteers and moved to the paid department.

Please read the Saturday edition of the Indianapolis Star. You will see why Dr. White was walking on egg shells on the Abdul Morning Show. He does not want to deal with the truth. He and his central office flunkies have created a mess. He removed Principal White from John Marshall and Greg Allen from Arlington because they focused their efforts and resources on the students who wanted to learning. Abdul, please continue attending IPS events and maybe you will become their worst nightmare. Invite Dr. White on your show and ask him why the good kids are getting overlooked.

Government schools are big CON. They are shams and frauds. The last thing Super White needs is a competent principal raising academic achievement by leaps and bounds. Why? Because the next question is that if John Marshall can be turned around why are not the other slugs getting improved? Super White has no answer for this but more excuses. That is why Super White is a fraud. As the saying goes in China, “It is the upright nail that gets hammered!”. Can anyone provide a rational explaination better than this one? Super White is hammering the kids at John Marshall right back into the educational graveyard they were.

At any rate, if he is convalescing from heart surgery, he deserves our best wishes. And if he is, it’s a pretty crummy time for Gene to mess with his job security.

Government schools do a mission for the government. The bloom is off the fig. Government schools are not public schools. Were they, there would not be this constant (60 years plus) criticism by the public. If you want intellectual support for the above, try Capitalism and Freedom by uncle Miltie. As we all know, the soviet collective farms still exist in Russia and are still a major component of Soviet agriculture(for some reason). Our government schools, in similar fashion, remain outposts of socialism and non performance,little islands of bureaucrats fiddling around wasting tax dollars in a vast unproductive swamp of incompetence protected against the public by trade unions. Now, did you have a better idea as to why Super White is destroying what was an argument for government schools?

Perry Township makes IPS look like the best of Charter Schools. My teacher friends in Perry tell me that it is a sinking ship with no Captain.

Socialism is about problems and fear, not solutions and hope. Socialism is a hoax. The template of socialism is failure (and condescended, despotic degradations thereto; communism, totalitarianism, fascism, etc.). And so, the failed design of public schools, where vigilant maintenance of the problem is a perpetual, collectivist scam; to pilfer wealth & income, from productive individuals or citizens, to redistributionists, who violate the tenants of civility by way of pretense, themselves posing as the arbitrators (arbi-traitors) of charity. In IPS terms, the proof is their condemnation of human development (70% failure rates!!!), in favor of real estate development (what is govt. doing here?). Generations of people have been lost to these failed, soviet style systems. Public schools have been for generations, in violation of the enumerated “purposes” (including intellectual & moral), of the state’s Constitution as it relates to common schools.

For those of you preoccupied with “all the other policiticans are corrupt, but my guy’s OK” and gov’t “closest to the people”, how corrupt and decrepit must it be before we can call it a failure and try something else? How big a raise does the Washington Township board deserve above 69% before it’s a problem for you? How lower than maybe half the IPS kids graduating on a good day is low enough before the Mayor or Governor take over the schools, as in other parts of the country? How high is high enough for downstream failures in abuse, neglect, obeisity, graduation, drug abuse, and continuation of the cycle of poverty from single-parenting before we stop subsidizing it?

The Washington Township board preys upon your civic lethagy under the guise of “service”. IPS is pepetuated through the suppossed virtues of a school administration close to the people, suppossed “compassion”, and at least the latent spectre of racism. Forget the puppy mill- our “baby mill” is too much a gold mine of income and/or turf for lawyers, judges, counselors, social workers, nurses, doctors, insurance companies, and all variations of these occupations that have thrive upon abysmal parenting.
