AND THE NOMINEES ARE

Democratic precinct committeemen will choose a candidate tomorrow night to take the place of Andre Carson who is now serving in Congress.  The nominees to fill the District  15 seat are Doris Minton McNeill, a member of the Wayne Township Board, Eddie Littlejohn who ran last year for the seat in a special caucus and Wyatt Jones, Sr. Today was the filing deadline.

A true test of Andre's worth would be to see who would hire him after his political career is over.
  • MissouriDemocrat
Andre could go back to doing what he did before.... which was nothing but sit around and draw a paycheck for his state employment. Or, I wonder if his 10 months as a Congressman give him a pension of 500 thou a year to exist on? Congress has such funny retirement packages one never knows. He might go to work for Evan who seems to think Andre is the best thing since Apple Pie and Mom's.
  • Now back to Carson.I feel sorry for Andre Carson. Think of it this way Abdul, If they replace Andre on the city council then Myers takes the nomatation in May,(which I think he will do) what will Andre have to do with his time then. Will his ploltical career be a short lived?
