WOULDN’T IT BE HILLARY
The word on the street is that Hillary Clinton may be back in Indiana on Saturday. I’m told she’ll be speaking Saturday morning at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis. Stay tuned.

All you Hoosiers are kidding yourself if Hillary or ANY of the presidential candidates give a CRAP about you. Our primary wasn’t even going to count - do you really think they were going to come HERE?!!! Pu-lease. Wake up. All of sudden they come sniffing like the dogs that they are, and you all are sucking it up.

I am SO glad I have no need to be in that area on Saturday.

Hillary Clinton will be in Hammond, Indiana on Friday. It would make sense that she’d head downstate to pick up more funds.
I’m betting that Barack Obama makes a swing through Northwest Indiana — maybe Gary — to counter Hillary’s visit.

Obama will have an office in Gary. Clinton and BAyh staying out of East Chicago because their primary fund raiser, Bob Pastrick is always just a click away from prison. Something for Bayh to explain.

I would ask her ( And Obama ) this question.
If you think it is a good idea for the government to be involved in our health care system such as Universal Health care you propose, how can we trust that they will do a better for us than the government has done for our veterans and the Veterans Affairs systems and hospitals ? If the VA hospitals and how they treat and take care of our veterans is an example of how our government actually works for us I may be a little skeptical on how well the government would manage their part of our health care ?
March 27th, 2008 at 9:29 am
The government can’t run itself let alone a business, which health care is. If they want to help us with health care cost, which is why people can’t afford health care, then they should do something about the over spending hospitals do like constructing new hospitals that aren’t needed (with most beds empty) and regulating skyrocketing insurance rates. Health care is a lot like the tax system, hospitals and insurance companies will squeeze us until we can’t take it anymore, then we will revolt. That time is coming.

The answer is not socialized medicine. It doesn’t work in countries that have it so why do we think our government can make it work here?

Joh G. The one key item you did not mention, but it appears to be the elephant in the room, is our runaway legal system. This has become a lottery system with lawyers running around suing every physician or hospital if they do not provide the absolute maximum in state of the art health care. Little wonder all the tests etc. etc. etc. are run even though the doctors can pretty much tell that they are not needed….except for the threat of a lawsuit. Heavy smoker, highly overweight, poor physical health patient becomes a lawyers dream client. And we wonder why healthcare costs so much.

Who are we asking these questions of? Do you think Hillary, Obama whoever is going to read them. We are doing it just so some Joe Blow can make fun of each person writting. I am voting for Hillary possibly, but she isn’t going to answer this email. Get real, this is all for a joke. just as our three cantidates are. Just vote for whoever you think is our least problem, if there is such a person.

We already have “socialized medicine” for many Americans - it’s called MEDICARE. It’s strange that the GOP isn’t openly calling for its abolition…
March 27th, 2008 at 11:34 am
My God. I’m agreeing with Wilson on this one. It always gets me that people on Republican folks on Medicare bitch about Universal Health Care.
March 27th, 2008 at 12:01 pm
Yeah Greg, you are absolutely right. And lets not forget about the lobbies.

And Wilson, how much does MEDICARE cost the citizens and is that system a shining example of how a government agency works? I’m not saying don’t provide services, just do it right.
