SNEAK PREVIEW
A lot of you have been asking me to come back and get back to work covering the issues facing Indianapolis and Marion County. I’ll be back Sunday with a lot of things to talk and write about.
I’ll dissect the Mayor’s 2008 Budget address. While the Mayor did make some valid points in his speech, he didn’t tell the whole story behind the city’s financial troubles. I’ll fill in what the Mayor didn’t.
I’m also going to walk through Judge Rueben Hill’s decision that held an IMPD officer who wasn’t sworn in and therefore an arrest he made was invalid. I really think there are some serious legs to this story than more people are willing to admit. In addition, this decision also calls into a bigger question about the new police department.
Also, it’s been a little more than a year since the last “early release” from the jail. Once again, that’s not the whole story. I’ll fill in the rest.
I’ll have the latest on property taxes, the Voter ID case heading to the U.S. Supreme Court, the continuing Library debacle, a Lawrence not-for-profit that may be breaking the law. And I’ll be at the State Fair on Wednesday
Although, I’ve been away, I have not been gone. And if you think things were wild last week, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

And the Wilson thing…please tell us you’re going ahead with that, too! It’ll be the most-appreciated blog entry in Indianapolis history.

What with all the really major things happening in Indianapolis, isn’t it pitiful how some obsessed individuals put me first? It’s kinda deranged…
Anyways, enjoy your vacation time – I hope your son is continuing to make a good recovery!

Wilson!
get off his blog……………..flipper
August 10th, 2007 at 10:23 pm
Wilson,
Yes, please get off the blog. Maybe you should concentrate on other things….like paying your delinquent taxes. Was it just an oversight? It looks like your pal Mr. Drummer is having some problems with that as well. Birds of a feather….
More to come later….

My property taxes are fully paid up weeks ago. I even paid the original 2007 tax bill as a good citizen – I guess I’ll get a credit on my November bill…
August 10th, 2007 at 10:37 pm
Then the link on the indy.gov website must be wrong? Just go look up the tax bill on the website at http://www.indy.gov. choose Center township….Enter your name, Wilson Allen….search…look at that.. .deliquencies.
Now your buddy Mr. Drummer….his deliquencies are a little steeper than yours….but I am sure he can “scrounge” up some money from somewhere to pay his 4 digit deliquencies.
I am sure it was all a misunderstanding….so thanks for setting the record straight for us.
It is utterly amazing what one can find on the web. You’d never believe what else I found.

Abdul – it looks like the loonies have taken over your blog … they are also trashing AdvanceIndiana’s blog too…
August 10th, 2007 at 10:56 pm
There goes Wilson claiming the loonies/nutterballs/incessant whiners have taken over.
Wilson, can you refute the statements that I made? Did you go to the website and search your name? Being the upstanding citizen that you are, I’m sure you would want to get this cleared up, right?
A little off topic, your other pal, Monroe Gray sent me an email today. I know, I almost fell out of my chair when he emailed me a response back today. I had asked him if he would have a problem if it was discovered that, another buddy of yours, Mr. Patrice Abduallah did not reside in the residence that he claims to reside in.
After reading Mr Gray’s response, there is no way in HELL that he wrote that editorial piece in the star. He typed just like I have heard him talk at the CCC meetings. Very poorly.
But to Mr. Gray’s credit, he did say that he would have a problem with it.

I know for certain that on another blog Wilson bragged about paying his 2007 property taxes before the Guv’s ‘freeze’ and mentioning that his taxes had only gone up a tad. What a wind bag and liar. Just like Patrice X.

That tax info is not up-to-date — it doesnt indicate whether the taxes have been paid. If you search any address whatsoever, the computer will show a tax bill for it whether paid or unpaid. Mitch Daniels and Brian Bosma havent paid their taxes either – neither has Greg Ballard according to some computer-ignorant people here…of course they have, just like me!
August 11th, 2007 at 3:52 pm
Why, then, does it show deliquencies? Is that incorrect? Of course it will show a tax bill for all residents, but not all residents show deliquencies.
August 11th, 2007 at 7:05 pm
Wilson you’ve already stated that you paid the penalties. If you had paid on time you wouldn’t have had a penalty. Simply put you didn’t pay your taxes when due.
You are a delinquent taxpayer.
Now quit lying.

WAS — I’m fully paid up even to the original higher 2007 level.
August 12th, 2007 at 1:04 am
Once again, I’m made the topic here instead of Bart etc. Good going! I’m sure Mike O’Connor is grinning…
August 12th, 2007 at 7:56 pm
Wilson is banned from this blog. Wilson check the rules for this blog.
Yes, Wilson is in the same catagory of scofflaws as the likes of Julia “Our Fool on Capitol Hill” Carson, Corrupt Carl Drummer (Center Twp Trustee) who has a patronage payroll over 100, Tony Duncan (Center Twp Constable), “King Ro” Conley (D) City Council Majority Leader, etc. These are the scofflaws who don’t think twice about Taxing and Spending our money, but then have a rationalization for not paying their own tax!
Wilson lies!

Before you go hanging everyone who’s shown as “delinquent” on the treasurer’s website, note that it appears that when they reverted the amounts to the 2006 level they also backed out any payments they posted after January 1, 2007. So there are folks who the site shows as delinquent who actually aren’t (today) although they were (earlier). (Wilson appears to be one of them.)
