For Those of You Keeping Score

The average of the last 10 polls of the U.S. Senate race have Richard Mourdock and Joe Donnelly at 42.5% to 41.4% with 13.5% undecided.

In the Governor’s race, the average of the last 5 polls is Mike Pence – 47.8% to John Gregg – 33.8%, Undecided – 16%.

I think it’s fair to say the Libertarians have up to half the undecided vote.

There are 16 days until Election Day.

Not that many people are undecided. Many just do not wish to reveal how they are voting and I respect that. How after almost 2 years of campaigning, hours of tv and radio spots, 4 debates, and nonstop coverage on some cable channels could a voter be truly undecided at this late date?

How can a voter be undecided after all this time? Easy! Through willful ignorance they don’t know or understand the intricacies of politics or even high level details! They let bumper stickers and mass mailings be their guide to political issues. Fox59 recently interview just such a person. You can go there and read what’s really important to this guy. It’s not foreign issues but how one candidate got in the “personal space” of the other.

It always cracks me up how people parse these WILDLY differing polls for some sort of cosmic significance, especially after a “debate.”
