Labor Fails to Get Even in May Primary

Union efforts to get even with Indiana Republicans over this past session’s Right to Work legislation fell flat this primary season fell mostly flat as not one “Lunch Pail Republican” won a primary.

The “Lunch Pail Republicans” labeled themselves as members of the GOP who opposed Right to Work legislation and promised to run opponents against lawmakers who voted for the bill.

As it turns out, the threat was empty as every Lunch Pail lost.   The Lunch Pails only managed to get a combined 27% of the vote in the seven Indiana House Districts where they ran a candidate.  Here are the results.  The Lunch Pail Republican candidate is in italics.

House District 5

  • Dale DeVon  – 3366
  • Cory Stith – 1207

House District 16

  • Doug Gutwein  – 4769
  • Diana Boersma -  3731

House District 22

  • Rebecca Kubacki – 5240
  • John Hare – 3060

House District 48

  • Tim Neese – 4106
  • Jerry Brewton – 2528
  • Randall Weinley – 206

House District 64

  • Thomas Washburn – 2803
  • James Amick – 1553

House District 82

  • David Ober – 3550
  • Denise Lemmon – 3284
  • Mike Caywood – 534
  • Wesley Ortell – 238

House District 91

  • Robert Behning – 3676
  • Mike Scott – 2151

Even statehouse candidates supported by the Indiana State Teachers Association also lost.

Just show that Indiana wants RTW!

  • John Howard

The fact is, the loud and attention-grabbing labor folks are woefully in the minority, like 1 in 10.  So their vote is insignificant to any outcome.

Reportedly, 324,000 women “dropped out” of the lunch pale labor force in the last two months:

The government is running the online conversation desperately trying to conceal the truth from leaking out about the coup and cover up.

  • Scooter

     Huh?

  • Scooter

CWA folks who work for ‘T’ are talking about this bit of Abdul’s fact presentation….  8-)

  • Ramon

    …pail…..

  • M Theory

Click the name above to read the page.  I’ve seen it posted all over the web. It’s the most bizarre thing (and that’s saying a lot if it is coming from me!)

  • Scooter

That was a wasted click.  Time to delete cookies & run a virus scan.

  • http://PalinsDirtyLittleSecret.blogspot.com/ FedsMadeSarahPalinClick4Proof

Yes coming from you “M Theory” who everyone online knows as the speaker of truth and wisdom it says a lot. LOL

  • Dave

It’s ok, to miss that which is pail by comparison…

  • MCuban oo8

Yes by all means scan for viruses…Feddie is known to harbor viruses.

  • Think Again

Really Dave?  Brent Bozell’s outfit as a “news source” ? Seriously?

  • Dave

Their source is the Bureau Of Labor & Statistics.

  • Rico

Hey, a-hole, anyone stupid enough to support Barry Obama shouldn’t be correcting others on ANYTHING!! (Sidenote: Your a-hole hero Think Again is proud.)

  • Think Again

    T?  As in AT&T?

  • Think Again

    Read it again

Bozell’s filks cut-and-pasted facts, cobbled together to form a loose conclusion…depending on the question asked.

  • Dave

You make it sound like baselining or measuring the CPI, unemployment rate..

  • M Theory

Certainly more wisdom than that schizo neurotic garbage you posted.

  • Scooter

There’s hope for you yet, TA.

Almost the entire Midwest ‘T’ is working without a contract right now, and depending on the conduct of both company and union, RTW could be ‘pushed’ one way or the other in Indiana.

If the company gets stupid, it will solidify the workers resolve to stay union.

If the union gets stupid, workers will jump on the RTW…

  • Think Again

I’m an AT&T stockholder, or I’d have left them five years ago.  Lousiest uVerse and phone service going, and if you EVER have to talk to them, it’s a nightmare.  Hate ‘em.

That’s what you get with deregulation.  They have no fear–there are no consumer protections in place, no watchdogs.  They can ignore us with impunity.

    Love that 4G!  Yeah, riiiiiight.

Desperate stalker keep covering up the truth

  • Rico

Maybe they just choose to ignore you.
