"Change thats still working". I don't know. Every time I see the phrase the mental image of a baby diaper that keeps filling with the yucky stuff as soon as you have the last pin set, keeps floating thru my mind.

With the new districts voter fraud is not even on the radar as the capacity to cheat is insufficient to gain a plurality. What is more likely is that the D party will evolve away from trade union cretins and race baiters by recovering to their ranks economic realists, small businessmen, shop keepers, and folks with enough education to see through crony capitalism.
Mike's mantra might just as well be, "Gaining a dollars worth of value for every tax dollar spent" and using that vista Mitch has left plenty on the table including the knives, forks, and spoons ready for use. More plainly speaking, government schools are nowhere near cost justification for most of their spendings.
Fixing socialism isn't possible (Mises) but getting value for tax dollars spent/wasted in government schools is a large, easy target.

Pascal is right. We really can't drive this car any further into the right-hand ditch.

I guess we could demand DNA papers at every polling place. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Oh yeah, why not also roll-back Constitutional protections for any minority? No need for protections. We're a perfect open society, all grown up on the world stage.

After Mitch gets arm weary from signing off on all this needed legislation one does have to wonder if Mitch left anything for Mike to accomplish.
