They will be inert in a matter of days/weeks. Quite frankly, if there's a massive explosion such that we get Plutonium here in Indiana and it came all the way from Japan, pills aren't going to do you a whole lot of good. You need a fallout shelter, food, water, and a whole bunch of books. And our thyroids aren't going to seem like much of an issue. I do appreciate the MSM's ability to overspeculate on these issues, but then again ABC had a Greenpeace wacko saying it was/could be worse than Chernobyl the instant the first plant began to fail.
