This “Officer” David Bissard should rot in jail. And then, there’s people like you (other officers) claiming He wasn’t drunk when He had an extremely high BAC. What a disgrace. And this was not the only crash he has had. Why wasn’t He investigated right there at the crime scene? Because his partners showed up to help him and probably drove him home still drunk. What a shame. People do not trust cops anymore.

Memo to FOP in LARGE LETTERS: Some battles need to be fought privately. This is ugly, and you’re losing support. Big time.

FOP, If you think Pres. Obama’s numbers fell in the last year, you haven’t seen anything, if you keep this up.

He was getting “due process”. Just on his own dime. I don’t know why this wasn’t made known to the rest of the Dept. BEFORE the vote was taken. Why wasn’t this done like the survey? That was certainly spread far and wide before it was sent out. This was an important enough issue that everyone eligible to vote should have known this vote was coming up and been given the opportunity to vote. Poor judgment on someones part…..

That’s a presumption that said choice doesnt want to represent a particular client, and in this case, the counsel on retainer for the FOP doesnt have that choice, regardless of the emotionally-based opinions of those who do not believe Bisard is entitled to representation. End of story, friend.

Bill, you are correct that I do have a difference of opinion on the FOP’s decision. I am also not a member which is fair. And while everyone is entitled to due process, they are not necessarily entitled to certain representation. As an organization, you guys are entitled to defend who you wish, I just think this one does the FOP’s image more harm than good.
