Karl Rove is lecturing anyone about the proper way to conduct government business…when he did this and much more on our nickel:

**advised and in fact, by multiple accounts, insisted on the “Mission Accomplished” embarrassment after the initial Iraqi air assault;

**allegedly (Not Proven but suspected) disclosed the identity of CIA plant, as a political act of revenge for the plant's spouse's public views on Iraq.

**master-minded the political strategy which attached a double-amputee war vet (Sen. Max Cleland) for his patriotism, which resulted in Sen. Cleland's Georgia Senate loss to a goof like Saxby Chambliss;

**ran the slash-and-burn political strategy inside the White Hosue under Pres. Bush.

I admire good politics of any stripe. And I don't mrch lock-step to the current administration's conduct of political strategy. But Rove is lucky he's not in prison. How dare he lecture anyone on the proper way to conduct government business…anytime, anywhere.

That said, I've got his book on reserve at the libary, and will read it as soon as I can. If I've got to hear abotu the inside Bush White House, I'd much rather hear it from honest men like Mitch, Andrew Card or others. I don't have to agree with their philosophies to admire their political accumen. Rove is just a slash-and-burn idiot.
