How did you out-position Kevin Rader for that sound bite? lol

Way to go Abdul. Use those elbows

http://blog.tomroeser.com/ I think this guy has a pretty good take. I think he gets it wrong about Evan being moderate-since Evan always caved to the far left-no spine. But, don't despise weathervanes like Evan for they at least tell you wind direction.

I was under the impression that Abdul had a “bigger” mike.

Just read that Tamyra D'illpolito was asked by “the machine” to step down. She was scheduled to be interviewed by Rachel Maddow and MSNBC , when 15 minutes prior, she was called to say the interview was cancelled. She's pointing fingers at Dan Parker.

I hope the lady gets the signatures and more people learn the lengths that Dan Parker will go to try to silence her chance to run. She says she'll have the signatures.

    Here's the article.

That woman is crazy. She only got 3 signatures in the 7th. Here's how everyone else did in their certified count – Stutzman – 561, Hostetler – 556, Bates – 502, Behney – 647, Coats – 800.

  • melyssa

Yep, only 3 signatures. How hard would it be to get 500 signatures per district? What a loon. Someone left a comment that she was too busy fielding media calls to do her grassroots work. I also read that the RNC was helping her signature gathering as of yesterday. If she lied about having signatures, she would have lied as a politician. We're better off.

And one of them I'm told apparently didn't live in the 7th, but Marion County.

  • varangianguard

She turned in three signatures?!? Isn't that like turning in a blank homework assignment and spelling your own name wrong?

Melyssa, I'm all for citizens running for office, but this lady from Bloomington…something is just fishy. The restaurant she owns is almost universally panned in online reviews, they don't even have hours listed on their website.

I'm sure she's a fine lady, but at best, she's horribly disorganized. She is not suited for office.

  • melyssa

    Agreed, Matthew.

Surprised Bayh has lasted this long.

It has been rumored for years that he was bored with Congress and upset with being passed over for significant executive branch positions.

Actually it is quite difficult to get 500 signatures from every congressional district. They must be certified as registered voters with the names signed as they are listed on the voters' list and the addresses match. I have heard that only 1 in 3 qualifies and some reports that it is more like 1 in 5.
