Hey Abdul, as I told your brother...I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. My family and I continue to keep him and your mom in our prayers. It might be time for them to relocate! :) See you soon.

OK, Taxpayer, I'll take the bait:

The House Minority leader, Rep. Hinkle, Sen. Murphy, Sen. Miller, Rep. Walorski, Rep. Thompson (which is scary because he's a high school government teacher), Rep. Noe (whose own leadership doesn't trust her to remember things from one day to the next).

I could go on.

Beautiful, TA. Except, you need to list the prominent clueless Republicans by name as well.

Good luck with the diabetes/stroke rehab thing. Pat attention: diabetes follows bloodlines. Good luck.

If Crawford and Bauer are fighting, I don't know which camp to choose...neither one is palatable, frankly. But if I had to choose, it'd be the Speaker because he wields such tremendous power.

But it is time for my party to closely examine its priorities, after this session, and think about someone else to lead important committees and to be Speaker. A healthy purge of all legislative leadership is long overdue...look what getting rid of Garton did to the Senate. And he was just one leader.

A personal requirement for any future Speaker or President Pro Tempore: some experience in the private sector. And that does not mean Ivy Freaking Tech. The ability to understand what it's like to generate your own income, and perhaps to sign a payroll or biz tax check, is critical.

We're awash in legislative leaders who are completely clueless about the real world.
