Rico - the reason Obama is appointing Clintonista's is because they've been tried and proven to play for the globalist agenda. Why risk appointing someone who might rock the boat when you can appoint people who've already worked overtime to screw up our country? The only difference between the Obama Administration and the Bush/Clinton Administrations will be how the media spins them. Obama will continue in Iraq, he'll increase in Afghanistan, he'll continue to actively promote genocide in Palestine by providing military and economic support to Israel, he'll continue to find international oversight of the US economy, and he'll do nothing to reverse elimination of Posse Comitatus and Bill of Rights violations that result from bills produced for Congress by the Bush Administration.

Did you ever think that there's a reason that Barry is naming all the Clinton hacks to his cabinet? I, like Camille Paglia, ask, "what do the Clintons have on Obama?" Hmmmmmm

Melyssa,

He's a citizen and legally qualified to be President. If he wasn't Hillary, Bill and the secret service would have done something about it a long time ago.

Abdul, I've been VERY critical of Obama on HFFT blog and I don't believe he is legally qualified to be POTUS, otherwise he would have ponied up a real COLB a long time ago.
.
As you know, I don't live in my parents' basement. I own a historic 4 bedroom home in Meridian Kessler. And I do date...a hot young guy named Max who is 20 years younger than me.

I understood Shorebreak just fine, and while I might take a slightly less conspiracy oriented tone, the results are what they are. I have generally found Shore to be a solid voice of non-partisan reason in many a comment section.

Oddly, I also often agree with Think Again on some things. Interesting to see you two go at it but I'm going to side with SB on this one.

From my perspective, the bigger government is and the more it is involved in, the more limiting the choices of the people which creates vast opportunity for corruption, self-dealing and government monopoly over certain activities.

We should all take exception to know-nothing political officials who maybe have law degrees but know nothing of economics or sociology and who have never worked, outside of law, in the private sector directing all of our public policy.

We should all take exception to people trying to leverage government influence to make partner at their respective law firms or enrich big contributors.

I really, really like Mayor Ballard but agree that he could do himself a favor by getting more of the people that supported him involved instead of those that are considered the Republican power elite.

And the thrashing that councilman Coleman is taking now for openly questioning a few things is proof positive that the Republican party is not interested in anyone that doesn't want to be a lackey to the party leadership and their delusions of grandeur. The Democrats, when in power, are no better and this is why politics is a yucky, dirty game.

SMart post Paul. Excellent points.

No, Shore...your smaller words make no difference. The bigger words were not foreign to me at all...just a tad pretentious in a blogpsot. You're just as baffling as you were with big words. So, when in doubt, eschew the big words, huh?

I am a little bothered by the advice to Mayor Ballard. Are you really condoing retaliation against Republicans who don't support the Mayor's Office being overtaken by law firms and lobbyists who don't care one bit about the Mayor's political future but are using their positions to the line their and their friends pockets?

I'm sorry, but being Republican doesn't mean you throw away ethics and turn a blind eye to embarassing conflicts of interest, both of which Mayor Ballard ran against, I might remind you. I want my council members voting the right way and if that means they are not always 100% in support of the Mayor, well so be it. As far as the horse's head you can stick that... okay, I better stop here.
