Message from Thomas John, Chairman – Marion County GOP
November 5, 2008
Dear Republican Grunt:
I write to you today as Chairman of the Marion County Republican Party after disappearing for a couple months. I am disillusioned by the Marion County GOP base for getting the lowest Republican numbers in the state, and of you for your steadfast support and contributions you must have made elsewhere.
However, because of me, I am pleased to report that EVERY Republican candidate who appeared on the Marion County ballot came in second or higher in the county vote. From President of the United States to County Council, if you were a Republican on the ballot, you came in second or higher in Marion County! Because of me and our neighbors, Mitch Daniels returns to the Statehouse, Greg Zoeller and Tony Bennett will be our next Attorney General and Superintendent of Public Instruction respectively.
These results in Marion County, coupled with the fact that we did this with the sitting Mayor and Prosecutor, have made the Marion County GOP even funnier than ever and this is your fault. Our party has faced adversity, and we have addressed that by disappearing, offending people, and allowing the base to shrink even more so that our numbers for Marion County reflect favorably when compared to Lake County.
Vote for me soon and I promise next time I will work hard and not offend people.
Sincerely, Thomas A. John, Chairman, Chief Political Strategist and General Know-It-All
Republican Party of Marion County

My post-election review video for the Federal Elections would have shown clips of Obama supporters and campaign promises/expectations. Then I would have dug into the campaign detail and shown how the campaign also promised to succeed in Central Asia where Bush failed, how the Dems built a pro-war Dem majority in Congress, how key Obama policy advisors were the formulators of Bush Administration policy, and how the Obama campaign promised that this century would be an American Century, just as the Bush Administration worked towards a New American Century.
.
I also would have shown my previous statements that Palin was cannon fodder for the planned GOP/McCain loss, and my predictions that she likely did it in exchange for having her crimes in office ignored. Then I would have shown my audience that Palin was forgiven of all wrongdoing on November 3rd, in keeping with promises made to her if she agreed to take the fall for the McCain loss.
.
In essence, rather than playing along with the charade and reporting what the Dem/GOP media establishment wants the public to believe, I would have reported what really happened.
.
Obama is a continuation of the Bush and Clinton Administrations. And the GOP campaign was nothing more than a charade. The only scapegoat they could find was a remote governor who was facing charges for crimes while in office. They used that to bribe her into taking the fall in front of the nation, and they repaid her by dropping the charges before election night, so that she wouldn’t show her hand to the nation.

The Republican Party (praise be its name) needs a real good over haul. And..before the Dems get bruises on their chest from their excitement, Obama led the way, not the State Party or Sen. Bayh.
Think Again
Shorebreak: yuo really believe that Obama is a continuation of Bush-Clinton?
Wait a minute…that’s not even a fair statement. Buhs is no more a continuation of Clinton than the man in the moon.
Where DO you get this stuff? You really are a conspiracy theorist, huh?
Shorebreak
So TA…
.
If I’m a conspiracy theorist, I guess that makes you a coincidence theorist.
.
Good luck with that.

I’ll define myself, thanks very much. And that has worked out REAL well.

Shore: You always have a dramatic and fanciful theory that “fits” but misinterprets the facts, sounding more like a a suspenseful novel plot than reality the way I and most people experience it. I notice that you never mention specific names. Instead there is vast, vague “they” cabal that controls the whole world; including, many obviously powerful governments that could easily resist being co-opted by the forces your theories conjure. I don’t doubt that there are groups of many powerful and rich people who have an inordinate influence on both political parties, the government and the economy. That is why I think it is important to have politicians who are in favor of reasonable regulation that checks those powers. While I am not so naive not to think that President-Elect Obama owes too much to the contributors of half a billion dollars to his campaign, I believe that his political philosophy will lead him to reinstate important government control lost in the Clinton and Bush years. To me, one of government’s legitimate roles is the safety of its people. That includes protection from the interests that would ruin its economy and liberty for personal gain and unfair advantage. I find it difficult to believe though that any one diabolical group could be as organized, all-powerful, secret, and homogeneous as you purport. How is it that you and a few hundred others are right and the mainstream of political scholars have so completely misinterpreted the facts? I write this respecting your obvious knowledge and sincerity in your beliefs. I just think your interpretation is off, albeit provocative.
Shorebreak
Think Again – You defined me – I simply pointed out the difference between your perception and mine.
.
And Tom, thank you for the respectful tone in your concerns regarding my posts. As I’ve said many times, none of what I’ve written is private or secret – it’s just not pulled together and presented by the media.
.
For example, when you accept that my posts are provacative, why is that? is it simply because it’s another “possibility”, however unlikely, that is rarely (if ever) found on mainstream blogs or discussion boards? I don’t think that’s why. I believe that it’s provocative because if there was direct evidence or admission of such, it would explain a great deal of things to the average American who can’t put their finger on how or why US foreign and domestic policy is established.
.
But, since you mentioned Clinton in your previous post, did you know that Clinton is a Rhodes Scholar? Do some research on Cecil Rhodes. Then you’ll understand why Clinton has stated that his most powerful influence was his Georgetown Professor, Carol Quigly. Quigly wrote the following in “Tragedy and Hope”:
.
“The powers of financial capitalism had another far reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements, arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences. The apex of the system was the Bank for International Settlements in Basle, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the worlds’ central banks which were themselves private corporations. The growth of financial capitalism made possible a centralization of world economic control and use of this power for the direct benefit of financiers and the indirect injury of all other economic groups.”
.
That’s a direct transcription from the book. If I’m a conspiracy theorist, and my “theory” is identical to that of a Georgetown Professor and his most famous student (who names Quigly as his most important influence), does that make Clinton and Quigly conspiracy theorists as well?
.
We have a lot to learn, folks. And we won’t learn it by watching mainstream media, the History Channel, or our high school history texts. Real history is found in the annals contained at the Library of Congress, in the writings and speeches of our most powerful officials and corporate leadership, and in the works and writings of the tax free foundations and institutes that guide or national policy.
.
Go straight to the source. Watch, read, and learn. The picture will become entirely different from the one that the media and our education has led us to believe.
Tom
Thanks Shorebreak. I will look that over.

This is the work of Bill Clinton’s most favored mentor. If you want an eye-popping intro into the shadows behind the throne, this is straight from the horse’s mouth. It’s both fascinating and frightening.

Tom,
You might also be interested in what Obama’s most senior foreign policy advisor – Zbigniew Brzezinski – wrote back in 1997. The Bush Administration took it to heart. Do you think Obama will as well? I submit that anyone who hasn’t read “The Grand Chessboard” can never understand or effectively comment on the goals of the Bush Administration or the future goals of the Obama Administration.
.
From “The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy and it’s Geostartegic Imperatives”:
.
“FOR AMERICA, THE CHIEF geopolitical prize is Eurasia. For half a millennium, world affairs were dominated by Eurasian powers and peoples who fought with one another for regional domination and reached out for global power. Now a non-Eurasian power is preeminent in Eurasia—and America’s global primacy is directly dependent on how long and how effectively its preponderance on the Eurasian continent is sustained.”
.
and
.
“It is also a fact that America is too democratic at home to be autocratic abroad. This limits the use of America’s power, especially its capacity for military intimidation. Never before has a populist democracy attained international supremacy, lint the pursuit of power is not a goal that commands popular passion, except in conditions of a sudden threat or challenge to the public’s sense of domestic well-being. The economic selfdenial (that is, defense spending) and the human sacrifice (casualties even among professional soldiers) required in the effort are uncongenial to democratic instincts. Democracy is inimical to imperial mobilization.”
.
“Today, the geopolitical issue is no longer what geographic part of Eurasia is the point of departure for continental domination, nor whether land power is more significant than sea power. Geopolitics has moved from the regional to the global dimension, with preponderance over the entire Eurasian continent serving as the central basis for global primacy. The United States, a non-Eurasian power, now enjoys international primacy, with its power directly deployed on three peripheries of the Eurasian continent, from which it exercises a powerful influence on the states occupying the Eurasian hinterland. But it is on the globe’s most important playing field—Eurasia—that a potential rival to America might at some point arise. Thus, focusing on the key players and properly assessing the terrain has to be the point of departure for the formulation of American geostrategy for the long-term management of America’s Eurasian geopolitical interests.”
.
“In fact, the window of Historical opportunity for America’s constructive exploitation of its global power could prove to be relatively brief, for both domestic and external reasons. A genuinely populist democracy has never before attained international supremacy. The pursuit of power and especially the economic costs and human sacrifice that the exercise of such power often requires are not generally congenial to democratic instincts. Democratization is inimical to imperial mobilization.”
.
“Moreover, as America becomes an increasingly multicultural society, it may find it more difficult to fashion a consensus on foreign policy issues, except in the circumstances of a truly massive and widely perceived direct external threat.”
