Georgian troops invaded breakaway province of South Ossetia last night – under Israeli military advisory as part of an effort to support Israeli energy security. And Russia responded by bombing the sh!t out of the Georgians.

And next, after having 1,000 US troops in Georgia last month to train the Georgian military (hindsight is 20/20 – we now know why the training took place) the Georgian leadership is calling for US support against Russia. We now also know why Russia is opposed to the US missile shield, which has everything to do with Russian strategic capability and nothing to do with “rogue states”. Today, Georgian leadership have requested US assistance to counter Russia:

Gosh, Melyssa, it doens’t seem like a whole year has passed, does it? Time flies. Thanks for the reminder.

The Gov is actually going to Hanna Indiana? Well hope RV 1 can find it. If so he will have a great time as Hanna is small but it is home to some really good folks. But he might not want to venture much further north in LaPorte County as I was up there a few weeks ago and they still are not over the Toll Road and I am not referring to the local D’s.

Dawg, the toll road anger starts at about Exit 26 on I-69, and goes all the way to Michigan’s border.

And something that I’m not watching – The media’s blatant distraction by focusing on something completely irrelevant like whats-his-name’s admission of having an affair. In the interim, just like in August of 2001 when the media was focused on Gary Condit as the rest of the world was being informed of US plans to invade Afghanistan (yes, that’s right kids – the plans were on the table and in global media prior to 9/11).Just like in 2001, we’re now focused on some trivial BS non-issue while the door is being opened to lead our kids into global conflict. Only this fall, it won’t be with miniscule entities like Iraq and Afghanistan. Pay attention folks – your kids may need your support to survive recent foreign policy decisions to provoke massive conflict.

It appears that Sen. Obama is vacationing in Hawaii before the convention to make sure that a legitimate birth certificate is on file. He needs to verify his U S citizenship before he can serve as president.

Angry Dem – I heard rumors that the Clinton’s had internal memos regarding the same thing – that he’s not a “native?” Weird stuff if it’s true.

Oh, and Shorebreak, while I agree with your point about lack of focus on serious news, the way the liberal msm covered up the affair and refused to report on it speaks volumes as well.

Obama needs to answer to the American public why he would give us a forgery of a document as important as a birth certificate.

The willingness to perpetuate this level of fraud on the American people points to a serious character flaw. We cannot trust Obama.

I can understand the thought process behind not disclosing one’s extra-marital affairs, but really, what’s so problematic about being truthful about one’s birth record – even if only to a judge who could issue a ruling that he was shown a bona fide legal document? Barry wouldn’t even have to make his personal information public. Of course, if he happened to get Judge Ito to make the ruling, we’d be no further along than we are now.

Maybe that is the reason Sen Clinton is planning to have her delegates to nominate her at the convention. Just in case he is disqualified from holding office.
