Happy 4th of July
Have a good 4th of July. Remember as we celebrate America’s birthday that it’s alright to disagree, just try not to be too disagreeable in the process.

Happy 4th to everyone. Nowadays when I celebrate the 4th with my family, I’m celebrating primarily the revolution against restrictive English rule and creation of the US Constitution.
.
And I use the celebration as any opportunity to remind my kids that if the citizens of the US ever decide that we want freedom from todays corporate controlled government, we don’t need another revolution. We only need to wake up.

Thanks to the wet showing of citizenry at the Governor’s mansion. Maybe weather, scheduling, and either resignation or optomism led to a modest turnout. If you believe current events scream for common sense frugality, you and I must sell it to the non-participators. After last summer’s tax bills, I’ve watched both parties do this dance in the middle that (most optomistically), might bring greater fiscal fairness at a dramatically slower pace than our decline. I’m voting for Andy Horning not because I believe he’ll win, but because we have to at least throw out incumbents. Because, IF, we get some incumbents ousted, and then their successors, both parties may finally get the message that economic madness is over. I don’t think we have the time for this to work. As a son, husband and dad, I’m suppossed to try.

Why does everyone blame the State of Indiana for the property tax mess? Some liberal idiot sued the state and the liberal judges ordered the State to re-assess. The State of Indiana did what the courts ordered it to do.

A film every American should see is “Zeitgeist”. It is available on You Tube for free. Warning: The facts brought forth about the origins of religion might make some uncomfortable. The movies picks up where Joseph Campbell left off and makes the myth easier to understand via the use of historical illustrations and visuals. The film culminates with an in-depth look at modern events including the American Revolution and the 1913 creation of the Federal Reserve and the private banking cartel that controls it.

Right on, Melyssa. Great movie. Don’t forget about the R.F.I.D. chip.
