Shorebreak- where do go for “unbiased coverage” of national/global events? Corporate or private, online or print or radio or tv? Or, do you have a recommended mix that when looked at as a whole, triangulates you to what’s really going on?

Al Jazeera started out as the BBC’s Middle Eastern Bureau in Saudi Arabia. After disagreements with the Saudi government, the Sultan of Oman (a long term strategic ally of Brit and US corporate leadership – ie MI6 and CIA) migrated the staff to Doha and created Al Jazeera, where the former BBC broadcasters were joined by numerous Ted Turner employees from CNN.

Without going into any detail, Al Jazeera is nothing more than a propaganda operation, similar to FOX News, the BBC, and CNN. The only difference is that Al Jazeera is subtly used to foment hatred of Christians and the West, while FOX, CNN etc are subtly used to create hatred and suspiscion of Islam and the Middle East.

The key to understanding this dichotomy is uderstanding that both Al Jazeera, and it’s western propaganda counterparts, are created and staffed by the same organizations. If you think Al Jazeera is any worse than FOX or CNN, you’ve probably been relying upon corporate media as a basis for your opinions.

Rico is correct. All the more reason to go with the martini/cigar combo during their coverage. And if Hillary can squeak out a victory, just look straight into the camera, shrug, and say, “Too bad, Hamas!”
