SO THIS IS WHAT “CHANGE” LOOKS LIKE

Unless something changes soon, Andre Carson will be next Congressman from the 7th Congressional District. With about 80-percent of the votes counted, Carson leads Elrod 53-44 percent.

Although Elrod led early in the evening, over the course of the evening vote count changed and Carson’s lead was cemented when eight Center Township precincts came in at about 9:30 p.m.

There are still some votes left to be counted so the race could tighten with 100 precincts left to be counted as this blog goes to print. Only about 15-percent of the registered voters showed up to the polls.

I’ll have more in the morning.

So much for the democrats promise of change. Now we Hoosiers get to be embarrassed in DC once again.

    REMEMBER NOVEMBER

C’mon. Suck it up. You are the same people complaining about how Democrats can’t take that we lost the Mayor’s office.

You lost. Man up and take it.

  • Jerry

Yup, I called it with 60% of the votes in and Carson with a 7% lead…only in a Carson election can you do that. With 92.5% and Andre with a 10% lead…I say screw you RNC. I also say that Eric Dickerson should have ran. No offense to Elrod, but he’s older and wiser and smoother.

    Jon G-

By the way, I’ve seen this quote about a million times in the past few months…

“Greg won. Bart lost. If you don’t like it, move to another city.”

Uhhh…well…I guess it goes both ways.

    REMEMBER MARCH!

    Jon G-
I’m the one who came up with the saying.
Greg won. Bart lost. I now have said it 2 times. Not a million times. I said. Move to another county, not city.

54-43-3 with all but two precincts left.

    Crap.

    Jerry,

Eric Dickerson would have ran but Tom John and Murray Clark were requiring he allow them to control his campaign like he was a slave. Yes, in 2008, like a SLAVE. When he insisted he run his campaign just like every other candidate is allowed to run their campaign they refused to endorse him, pursuing Elrod, or any other willing white victim, instead.

p.s. all other black republican candidates phone calls and inquires were ignored.

I’ve never disliked white people and have traveled and lived all over the world, but white republican leaders in this town will make you a racist if you’re not already. Fortunately, I’m aware its mainly the leadership and not republicans in general. But now I’m beginning to understand why Amos Brown is such a racists.

Unfortunately since Amos hasn’t been anywhere except naptown and therefore he cannot put it in perspective as I do. But, man…the racism within the republican party leadership really stinks and it’s getting smellier everyday in Marion County!!!!

Considering these men’s predecessors did jack squat for Eric’s 2006 campaign. Why should Eric Dickerson trust the leadership regardless of who is in charge?

“White Republican Leaders” also left Ballard to his own devices, although they were not too proud to take a bow after he won. Maybe we need to clean house in the organization.

I think politics in general needs a major overhaul, that’s why I say “remember november.” It was start of something fresh in politics. There is no question Carson is the least intelligent of the three candidates that ran for the 7th. I’m am embarrassed that we have to have someone like that represent us. I don’t care what color he/she, their gender or what their religion is, our Congressperson should be smart………..Oh I forgot intelligence is not a pre-requisite for being in politics, never mind.

Yes, we need to clean house. It appears, however, that Ballard has wrapped himself up with these leaders, thus the multiple perceptions of conflicts of interest in appointments and soon to come contracting.

    eek!
