Shorebreak, the John Birch Society called. They want their irrelevant nonsense back. Marilyn Quayle also left a message. She loves your post.

(Seen the black helicopters lately?)

Jerame: the question you threw back at Abdul may be fair. That's a relevant issue to debate, but who the hell are you to throw in an insensitive personal insult about a former White House intern? She's "chubby" ? What does that have to do with anything? Shameful.

Would you like it if someone raised one of your less-attractive physical traits, whilst discussing issues of the day?

However tough the question to Chelsea was, or Abdul's potential Hillary question is, they're both relevant and proper. Using the yardstick which was put forth yesterday by none other than Bill Clinton.

Bill Clinton abused that intern in the White House--more appropriately, he turned her into a humidor. Which is disgusting. It was, frankly, a workplace crime, and I thought the Democratic Party was all about workplace equality and creating a fair and open work environment.

And if Chelsea is gonna put herself out there for her mom, she should be able ot take the heat. Didn't dear old Dad just say the exact same thing regarding Barack supporters? Using Bill's standards, as noted in a speech yesterday, if you don't want to play football, don't suit up.

Get your mind out of the gutter. I said football--one word--not foot/ BALL, two words.

Susan, Susan. If you really believe that asking potential presidential candidate a question regarding their position on the sovereignty of the US Constitution then I can only say...."WOW". But then, this should be a question not to one candidate, but to all. I do agree that the potential "gotcha" questions serve no purpose. But sovereignty of the U.S.?
Totally legit in my mind. Recognize, I might not like her answer, but I would like to know it.

Susan,

How is the question hurtful? Hillary is running for the Presidency of the United States. There is no crying in politics. If she were a guy, I would ask the exact same question. And by the way, I have no shame.

The question to Chelsea was in poor taste and not relative. Your question to Hillary is even worse! You don't care about her ability to focus, you are just trying to rattle her. Both questions are hurtful and ill intended! If it were a man whose wife had cheated on him, would u be asking the same question? I say no!
From a McCain supporter I say: SHAME ON BOTH OF YOU!

Here's another good question for anyone who plans to attend:
-
"Senator Clinton,
-
In 1999, you praised Walter Conkite when he received the "Norman Cousins Global Governance Award" for his position on establishing a single global system of government.
-
Taking into consideration that such a system would eliminate the sovereignty of the US Constitution, is that a stance that you would continue to support as President?"
-
If you wanna see someone give a sudden blank look, then stumble and stammer for a second before completely changing the subject, I dare you to ask the question. Bring your video camera.
-
Here's the youtube link to give you some background:

It's not the question that's a problem, it is who was asked. No matter what is going on, this is the child of these two people. I don't mind if the question is asked of Bill or Hillary Clinton, but it I do mind if it is asked of their daughter. I don't care how long ago it was or what she is doing now. That incident was probably one of the worst memories in her life, it was surely embarrassing and probably shattered some piece of innocence that she had left.

Before you all start flaming me, a child cannot control who their parents are or how they conduct themselves. Neither you nor I know how much of the Clinton's behavior she was included in and how much she was shielded from. Regardless of that, most children, even those who have been abused keep some hope within themselves that their parents are not all bad.
