MD, my point is not whether or not Rush and Garrison are correct. My point is that it is not “hate”. People accuse them and many others of spewing “hate”, but what they really mean is that they disagree with them–a lot–to the point of emotional disagreement.

Your answer on this is a perfect example. I think that the Democratic leadership are leading us toward a socialistic government and so you say that I am a brainwashed Nazi. Beautiful. You say that we need to be able to disagree, but when we do YOU label me a Nazi–not because of my positions, but to dismiss me and my opinion.

Something like West Wing meets the Beverly Hillbillies. Based on great Oliphant political cartoon years ago where Hillary’s beating Bill over the head (“You big dummy!”) with her purse for some latest trashy episode that’s all over the papers, while they’re sitting at a table that looks to be in a decrepit farmhouse or barn, with a pig in the corner of the room with a bale of hay.
And to think I long for this compared to what we’ve had for nearly eight years.

You’re talking about comparing a fiction to fiction. Hillary isn’t going to win the nomination, much less the presidency…so it’s all fiction.

The closest I can come to compare a Hillary Presidency with a television program is the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric. Both are examples of poorly developed fiction – up there with the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.

Here’s an idea…..if you don’t like what they say CHANGE THE DAMN STATION!! It is Greg’s and Rush’s show! They are entertainers, not news media. They are where and when they are because people listen and they get ratings.

Truth, The spin off of “Three’s Company” did not have Don Knotts in it. It was Norman Fell.

MD, you are right that it is your right to disagree. But part of that right to disagree means that you have a right to form an opinion about where other people stand. That is what Rush et al do all of the time. Once again, that doesn’t make it “hate”.

By the way, why would identifying someone as “Marxist-Socialist” be hateful anyway? It is simply trying to match someone’s policy positions to the underlying philosophical underpinnings. That term is not like the way people use the term “Fascist” or “Nazi” as name calling.
