7th Congressional District candidate Andre Carson raised a stir Tuesday night by skipping out on an Eastside neighborhood association meeting. This was not the first time. Carson also missed a scheduled candidate forum last Friday at Oasis Church near 25th and Keystone. The forum was supposed to be with ex-offenders and reintegrating them into society. County Auditor Billie Breaux went in his place. Carson reportedly hadn’t made it back from a trip to Washington. If he keeps getting bad advice and skipping out on important neighborhood meetings, he may never get to Washington. The special election is March 11.

Carson called you this morning but wouldn’t come on the air to clear things up. HMMM…Must have been in a damage control meeting with Amos so they can figure out what to say on his show this afternoon.

First Billie Breaux, then Melina Kennedy as “surrogates”. André sure knows how to use women. Or is it hiding behind skirts?
Jon and Sean must be chewing rocks.
People who show up at the polls will decide it anyway. If André is what the simple majority of them want, then that’s all there is to it.

The reason Andre let Abdul do his apoligizing this morning is because Abdul would be, and was, oh so polite. For godssake grow a set man! Step up and face the public or quit. I will say, David O and Rodman had the cajones to show up at the tax rally last summer. They have more backbone then Andre.

I will agree with the post that at least David O and Rodman showed up to try and speak to the people at the tax rallies.
As one of the co-conspirators at some of these events there is even a YouTube clip up that includes me handing David the microphone after asking that everyone let him speak and not boo.
Of course, eerie is having my wife and Judy O stand around chatting for half an hour at a political forum held at a private residence a couple of weeks ago. Judy was very nice, David is never very talkative.

There is interesting chatter on TDW about the real source of Carson’s college degrees. He really needs to come clean about his education (or lack of) and his ties to the Nation of Islam….then I just might vote for him.

André Carson’s degrees are from educational institutions that are accredited by the same entity that accredits IU & Purdue degrees. Trash André’s education and you are trashing both IU & Purdue.
Sadly, desperate Republicans cant win on the issues so they resort to lies and slanders against an educated Democrat. GOP hysteria and desperation are not pretty…

I am not discussing André’s degrees. Wilson is correct. The degrees come from an accredited institution. Make up stuff elsewhere.
