HE’S IN THE JAILHOUSE NOW
Have you seen the story of the inmate who was left unattended in a Marion County Jail holding cell for two days with no food? James Logan was put in the holding cell after being sentenced on drug charges. He was left there until Sunday afternoon when a deputy noticed him. All Logan had was a fountain that provided drinking water and a toilet. One deputy was fired and two were suspended.
I am told this is not the first time something like this has happened at the Marion County Jail. I have a couple questions for you to ponder? Who runs the jail and why should we let them stay in charge of the police department with stories like this running around?

Well, I believe it is suppossed to be the Sheriff, but I don’[t think he really runs anything.
Please, just get us out from underneath him.

“Flowers” only need occasional watering, don’t they?

Abdul, that was my first thought, too, when I saw it on TV: “And we want the sheriff running IMPD, why?”

I was personally surprised that there was an admission….
…remember when political associate Glenn Howard was interfering with a raid at an illegal gambling operation and the police report of the interference was CHANGED, and all references to the political associate at the illegal gambling raid were deleted?

Wonder why he didn’t change this report and delete all references to the incident?

I say we keep Frankie J. in charge. Yeah. That sounds like a good idea.

Just for clarification, he was left in a CCB holding cell, and there was no one there Saturday and Sunday until he was found.

Not true, the MCSD has a unit that secures the CCB 24-7. They are always there and are supposed to make regular rounds throughout the building. However, they don’t make rounds to those holding cells where this man was located because the court-line unit is supposed to make sure that this sort of thing never happens. so the fact that he was found before Monday morning is interesting. Yes, the Sheriff’s Department is more interested in destroying the lives and reputations of good minority and even white deputies and keeping lazy, worthless deputies and to make it worse, some of these deputies have not only kept their jobs after committing a crime or doing something stupid but they also get promoted. Keeping the sheriff in charge of IMPD? Please, I wouldn’t trust that goof ball with a potato gun.

So he spent the weekend in a cell in the CCB instead of spending it in a cell in the jail. And the problem is ?????

Buzzy, the issue is he didn’t get his free meals like he would have at the jailhouse.
Former Deputy, I wouldn’t see them actually checking the areas when court is not in session (Saturday/Sunday), even though they are supposed to.

“left in the jail for two days without food” on “drug charges”…..
duh?!@#$
I have absolutely no sympathy for him or for Sheriff Anderson or any of His crew… Anderson’s been nothing but an embarassment to my vote for him!
