TUNE IN TOMORROW
I attended the news conference this afternoon at Kennedy-King Park. The news was pretty straight-forward. The fun part was what happened afterwards. I’ll have a link up here tomorrow for you. I won’t go into much detail, but tune in here tomorrow after 10 a.m. and I’ll have the full details. It will be priceless.

I can’t wait to see this. I am reading the big apology from the Star online now.

How many people were there that weren’t “media”?
I hope you have video…

Abdul, will the Mayor demand an apology from Haith in front of the press for the racial insult made toward you? If not, this was clearly an election-time stunt on Bart’s part. But I’m sure that has already crossed your mind.
The rest of Indy seems to be about 10 steps ahead of this administration lately, which is why Bart’s heart-felt campaign commercials don’t seem to be working. Hence the desperate “attack” ad he is now running.

The general consensus seems to be that no evidence exists, so denial is the order of the day. Selective hearing.

I think I just listened to the evidence in Abdul’s posting right below this entry.

Not the general consensus here, Grover. Sorry, I wasn’t specific enough. I meant over on the IndyStar’s Topix forum.

Didn’t Tully have a ranting column about Mitch Daniels a while back that did some name calling?
I believe Tully still works for the Star as a political columnist.

And no one believes that black organized crime doesn’t exist in this city?
God help the Department of Justice if they ever did hand down indictments to these “leaders of our black community”. Hell, the ensuing firestorm in the inner city would make Watts look like a marshmallow roast.

At the risk of seeming impatient, it’s ‘tomorrow’ and it’s ‘after 10am’.

Current Indianapolis Recorder Article:
White-led development increases poverty among blacks

I find this article racially offensive. I demand an apology on page one and that the Indianapolis Recorder editor get fired!

Yeah, I’m with Bart Lies, I was stuck in a meeting and couldn’t listen. Please tell.

Abdul got into a “discussion” with Rep. Crawford about the double standard of decrying Mr. Biddle’s insensitive remarks and Mr. Haith’s recetn insensitive remarks directed at Abdul.
I think I heard through the shouting and attempts by “friends” to get him to clam up that Rep. Craford staunchly defended Mr. Haith’s “right” to call Abdul “the son…grandson of Willy Lynch”. Rep. Crawford seemed to think that Abdul is a “fair” target for such behavior for “some” reason.
That was what I got out of the exchange. Anybody can correct me where I’m wrong.
I would like to know just how many people were actually out there. Didn’t sound like much of an audience on the TV clip on WTHR.
And, if I’m not mistaken, I believe I saw Ms. Bolejack standly proudly up there behind Rep. Crawford. Is that right?
