BALLARD HITS THE AIRWAVES, SORT OF
Republican Mayoral candidate Greg Ballard has finally hit the airwaves with commercials. Well, it’s not exactly the airwaves but Ballard has two ads on the Internet. I found them both on You Tube. One ad focuses on crime and police consolidation while the other focuses on the budget. Whether the rest of the public will see the ad remains to be seen, but it’s a start. I’ll be interested in what you think of them.
UPDATE: Marion County Republicans say the ads done on Youtube are not theirs, but a private company so they are taking no ownership, however the publicity sure can’t hurt.

The democrats and local rube, Matt Tully, all figure the one with the most money is going to win the mayors race. The fact is people are tired of all the lies, and Bart’s latest ad where he says “We banded together” is such a bald faced lie I want to puke every time that ad comes on television. I was at Black Sundat and the Tea Party, both of which happened before Mitch and the state stepped in and Bart was never there.
Now, with that said, it is time for the local Republicans (read the money people) to step up and put some cash in to Ballard’s coffers. I threw a few bucks his way, but time for everyone to open their wallets.

I think the commercials are great! They say in 30 seconds what the mayor has lied about for 8 years.
Please forward the links to others you know who will vote this November.

regarding: “If Greg Ballard is the answer we are really screwed! This guy could not run a Hot Dog Stand! Let alone the 13th largest city in the USA”.
In rebuttal…
Here’s a thought..you are evidently for Peterson, so chew on this..your mayor is President of the League of Cities…just think what the USA would be like if all the cities modeled themselves the same way he runs this city…..God have mercy.

It’s odd that the Ballard supporters here are so ashamed about it that they comment anonymously. I wonder if any are bold enough to put one of those rare Ballard yardsigns in their front yard?

Wilson….why must you say stupid stuff…..I for one will soon have a Ballard sign in my yard….I am beginning to think you just want the attention (it’s working) but at the same time shut up would you

In between the Property Tax Yard sale at activist Laura Hile’s house and the “Breakfast at Bart’s” protest Sunday morning, I managed to give away quite a few Ballard signs to the folks who went to the French Market near my house.
I also put out my Yard of Shame sign with all the corrupt councilors who voted to increase our income tax against our will. ALL and I mean ALL of the african americans that walked by stopped to look and many talked with me about it. They overwhelmingly know Monroe Gray is corrupt.
On another note, loads of Kurt Webber signs are popping up all over Meridian Kessler! Looks like Monroe Gray’s days are as numbered at Bart’s. Their corruption makes their opponents campaigns inexpensive to be effective.

I know a guy who has a Ballard bumpster sticker on his car and had an Indianapolis police car come up along side him and give him a thumbs up. Nuff said.

By the way, someone stole my Bart Lies sign from my front yard over the weekend. Good thing I have a camera at my front door.
Way to go Bart!!!!
Like I’ve said before, things are “Bound to come out!!!!”

As I was walking to the French Market I saw Kurt Webber signs going up in yards. Very cool.

I have another “Bart Lies” sign out in the yard, and I will keep replenishing them and taping until they are gone.
We’re ready this time.

I know Ballard seems to have more signs out, but watch out… Peterson is collecting data in the form of txt message sign-ups through his website that I’m guessing he will be utilizing on election day to get out the vote.
September 19th, 2007 at 5:20 pm
Yes, Bart, be sure to remind us all on Election Day what a horrible job you have done for so long so we can get out and vote against you! He better hope he hand picked clerk, Beth “Incompetent” White, has the site open this time.

Wilson reminds me of a lot of people I know, they have no life and spending hours on end sending msg to Blogs is pretty much their life. Wilson have you ever given anything to the city or are you just another goof with a lot of time on your hands. I’ll bet on the second guess.
