Wilson, I thought you were the guy over on Ruth’s blog that was complaining that people might not get to vote because of the Voter ID law? Nevermind the fact that they couldn’t find a single person who wouldn’t have been able to vote. So now you’re going from the argument of defending the ‘one hypothetical person who won’t get to vote but we’re not sure if they even exist, which they probably don’t,’ to ‘it’s only 230 votes in a primary that’s not a big deal.’ You can pick either side, you just can’t pick both dude.

Abdul, I just wanted to say I think it’s great you run a blog. I work nights so I always miss a lot of local covereage on your show in the mornings. I wish they’d give you 2 hours a night!

My great, great grandmother could not vote for most of her life and she died two years before the voting rights act. One person disenfranchised is one person too many.

By the way, based on previous voting patterns from those 5 never-opened precincts, less than 230 voters missed out this primary in those precincts. Not good but hardly the scaremongering “3000 disenfranchised” so blithely and inaccurately thrown around…

here is an idea im going to try. i will e-mail all CCC members with a few simple questions, hopefully some may be capable of answering them and i will wait a period of time and see how many members reply. a simple question might be ( example, if you pass a pit bull ordinance and the dog in question is a mixed pit bull breed. who gets the front end and who gets the tail end? )
