<description>OK 2 B Gay and Anonymous, according to the research done for the book "The Creative Class", those peole in posititions that require higher education or arts prefer, thrive, grow and create in locations that value tolerance and diversity. So this is not about creating opportunities for LGBT people, but creating an evironment for economic growth.

Sure Lilly or Cummins are not going to move their plants but they could very likely move their corporate headquarters to say, Illinois, which is considering civil unions. Then all those benefits that those people contribute to non-profits and all those projects that get funded by their endowments will go to Illinois.

<description>Given all of the other states that are passing marriage amendments, why is this bad for business? Will that company we are seeking go to Michigan or Ohio instead? Will that Purdue grad move there instead? Nope. Those states already have an amendment that is stronger than the one proposed here. Now, repeat that for about half the states in the country. Can every smart homosexual in the country really find a job in Massachusetts? Good luck.

Sounds to me like pandering to political correctness. Not all that unusual for Lilly. And possibly a smart strategic move given all the reasons that pharmaceutical companies are hated by the Left. Why add something else to the already lengthy set of reasons?

But let's not fall for this "bad for business" excuse. That's just hogwash. Wake up, Abdul.

<description>Wow, hey Abdul. . . can you ask Colone Eli if the only smart people that they want to hire are are Queer? I feel that us Homosexuals are being singled out and given unequal opportunities. We force people to hire us. I am ashamed to say I am Gay because people do not look at me now because I am different, but because I am getting special treatment.

I do not ask my co-workers if they are straight or gay. They do not ask me. Please leave us alone.

What is next? A box on the application that gets check if you are gay, straight, TG, etc.?

Come on big business. Stop playing games, just leave us alone and let us work.
