PIke Township will never go along with this. Lula Patton, the trustee, and a Democrat, has an ego the size of the RCA Dome. She'd stare down Bart in a heartbeat, and laugh about it later.

Cruella DeVille in public office.

And Wayne should, but...their fire department is the most political in the state. And that dimwit Phil Hinkle represents a lot of Wayne, so he'll stall just for the sake of stalling. (PLEASE, puh-lease, put up someone good against him next year)

Good luck Bart. It should sail through. But it won't.

OK - since nothing seems likely to be forthcoming on the current alleged Justice Department investigation of peashake money laundering and political corruption necessary to keep it going, I'll post some material form the Congressional Record regarding past Justice Department investigations of money laundering. Draw your own conclusions.

The following quotes are from the 1992 Executive Summary to Congress on the BCCI banking scandal, regarding the Saudi/CIA controlled bank that Congress found guilty of laundering money throughout the world. I've selected quotes regarding the Justice Departments efforts to STALL and HINDER efforts by honest law enforcement to bring criminal elements of BCCI to trial.

Here is a link to the full text:

http://www.fas.org/irp/congress/1992_rpt/bcci/01exec.htm

The Justice Department, along with the U.S. Customs Service and Treasury Departments, failed to provide adequate support and assistance to investigators and prosecutors working on the case against BCCI in 1988 and 1989, contributing to conditions that ultimately caused the chief undercover agent who handled the sting against BCCI to quit Customs entirely.

The January 1990 plea agreement between BCCI and the U.S. Attorney in Tampa kept BCCI alive, and had the effect of discouraging BCCI's officials from telling the U.S. what they knew about BCCI's larger criminality, including its ownership of First American and other U.S. banks.

The Justice Department essentially stopped investigating BCCI following the plea agreement, until press accounts, Federal Reserve action, and the New York District Attorney's investigation in New York forced them into action in mid-1991.

Justice Department personnel in Washington lobbied state regulators to keep BCCI open after the January 1990 plea agreement, following lobbying of them by former Justice Department personnel now representing BCCI.

Relations between main Justice in Washington and the U.S. Attorney for Miami, Dexter Lehtinen, broke down on BCCI-related prosecutions, and key actions on BCCI-related cases in Miami were, as a result, delayed for months during 1991.

Justice Department personnel in Washington, Miami, and Tampa actively obstructed and impeded Congressional attempts to investigate BCCI in 1990, and this practice continued to some extent until William P. Barr became Attorney General in late October, 1991.

Justice Department personnel in Washington, Miami and Tampa obstructed and impeded attempts by New York District Attorney Robert Morgenthau to obtain critical information concerning BCCI in 1989, 1990, and 1991, and in one case, a federal prosecutor lied to Morgenthau's office concerning the existence of such material. Important failures of cooperation continued to take place until William P. Barr became Attorney General in late October, 1991.

Cooperation by the Justice Department with the Federal Reserve was very limited until after BCCI's global closure on July 5, 1991.

Some public statements by the Justice Department concerning its handling of matters pertaining to BCCI were more cleverly crafted than true.

Now we have another case of the Justice Department conducting three years of peashake "investigation" while close to 30 million dollars is laundered annually. That's enough cash to allow a major lender (like Bank of America) to issue somewhere close to $300 million dollars in additional loans every year.

And here's a link to the very recent prosecution of Bank of America for "ignoring" tens of millions of dollars of laundered funds held in it's accounts:

http://asia.news.yahoo.com/060927/3/2qjal.html

So I say again. We have evidence tampering, State Senator involvement, millions in profit, obvious money laundering, an inactive Justice Department, and solid evidence of bank complicity in laundering activity (which increases profits exponentially if they can get away with it).

And no news story??? Matt Tulley? Are you listening or is somebody in your pockets? IndyStar? How about you? Mr Brizzy? Your public is asking for answers - will you address the questions?

Somebody needs to do some digging, because the history I've just revealed with the Justice Department and with major banks clearly shows that when political players are being cleansed from records, something very big may be at play.

To add to the puzzled anonymous nobody above: why is newly re-elected Prosecutor Carl Brizzi snoozing?

Posted by Wilson46201 at February 15, 2007 11:02 AM

Thank you, Wilson!

Abdul? Carl? Bart? Anyone???

Who has the influence to shut this line of questions down? State Senators? Local Cops? Someone who can capitalize on $29 million dollars of laundered money?

And who can launder that much money without scrutiny?

This isn't about a few folks gambling anymore. The real cat is out of the bag. And it seems like someone has enough influence to stuff it back in before too many people realize how deep this issue can get. It's not about an altered police report's. That was the desparate act to cover up the bigger problem. It's about ten's of millions of laundered dollars that are being sheltered, while the Fed's are watching.

So again I ask - any updates Abdul? Anyone???

Off topic, but are there any updates on the Peashake cover-up? State Senator connections to keeping them operating? Fed Justice Department investigations? Where is the money being laundered? Complicit cops?

Indy Works III may be important, but it's nothing compared to a mayor who's running a city with a "bought and paid for" police force and elected officials who make sure that the illegal revenue keeps flowing.

Updates anyone? Abdul????

Did I say I am 100% behind townships? All I really have to say about it is do one of two things:

1. Leave them alone
2. Dispose of them COMPLETELY.

The plan I seen previously which would have two townships - one being Center, the other of the 8 surrounding townships - is political rigging at its best rewarding a handful of people.

Anon 6;51...Hope you are correct. Mike Hobbs in Lawrence needs to get lined up. He seems to be wavering at this time. Maybe a call from Bart would get him 100% on board.

They all will. My guess is they signed up (and were supported) with the merger in mind.

Good government.

'Bout time the Republicans got out of the way.

BTW -- Its why crazy-Hailstone won't go anywhere...prefers bad antiquated government to the bold government of the future.

Jeff Bennett in Warren is already holding hearings to consolidate with or without Indy Works III. So there's one. Carl Drummer doesn't count so it's really 5 of 8 as IFD is Center's fire department since day 1.
