Loading ...Trouble in Paradise?
I know this is the Holiday season with peace on Earth and goodwill towards men, but there may be trouble and serious divisions brewing between Hizzoner Mayor Bart Peterson and City-County Council Democrats, the Black Democrats in particular. It’s hard to get a read on exactly what the division is, but I can say this. The trouble with being the majority is after a while you start to feed on each other. I’ll have more details as they warrant.

Abdul, the infighting you’re hearing about, si the jockeying as Democratic slating is put together.
The Mayor, clearly, wants to upgrade the quality of the Dem caucus. While he won’t tell them who they should choose as president, he is clearly annoyed at the revolving door on that seat, and on Monroe Gray’s complete lack of effective leadership.
We’ll know who wins this tussle in short order: slating in Feb.3–not that far away. If there are no changes on the Dem slate, then, Bart lost.
