But if the prosecutor covered up known deficiencies in his office and adminiistration, just to “not get caught” by a council committee whose agenda was, frankly, perfectly obvious to most 4th graders, two things:

1. Same on him for being so stupid to not see the questions for what they were–setting him up.

2. Double shame for lying, if he did.

How many times do politicians have to learn and re-learn the lesson Kerry had thumped into his defunct ireelevant elitist ass the last three days? If ya eff up, step up.

It really is a simple question. My gut feeling is he did lie, but I’ll wait on more documentation and answers if there are any.

Isn’t it fun being the messenger? I envision a great big target surrounding your head every time I read the angry reponses to your blog entries.

My advice is to ignore them unless they actually have something relevant to add. Shooting the messenger is an age old tactic of the desperate that’s easily recognized by those who aren’t emotionally attached to the issue’s.

Just keep up the good work and keep your audience informed on all sides of the spectrum. That’s your strong point and it’s what’s made you the most important commentator on Indianapolis and Indiana politics.
